URST Books was started in 1996 by Scott Teplin.

URST books primarily concentrates on artist books solely by Teplin, but also works collaboratively with select artists from the Booklyn Collective, which includes Dylan Grahm, C.K. Wilde, Patrick Flynn, Mark Wagner, Marshall Weber, Nugent J. Vitallo and many many more. URST also collaborates with the following presses: Artichoke Yink Press, Artichoke Yink Comics, Blue Barrel Press, Bird Brain Press and Com Press.
