TEACHERS from MEMORY project with Renee French: My 6th grade homeroom teacher Mr. Wyckland used to punish his students by making us copy ('copy' = 'by hand' in the early 80's) a page from an encyclopedia about the Byzantine Empire (hence, the Byzantine hat I put on his head - GET IT?!).
