More sketchbook stuff
I wish I could post some new stuff I've done but it's for publication and I'm supposed to wait after until it....published. Here's some sketchbook stuff form last week.
Carrier Pigeon poster
Carrier Pigeon magazine, (issue 13) will feature a fold out poster of mine (see below), along with a 10 page spread of my stuff. I hope to have extra posters available here in the fall.
I get asked, sometimes....
Occasionally I'm asked what does one kind of my drawings have anything to do with another kind that I've previously made - so I crated a page to explain.
Ink lines (nearly) done
I'll be adding brick, wood and carpet texture next, before watercolor.
First page
Sometimes the hardest part of starting in on a new sketchbook is the first page.
Aerial Butt study - line
15" x 18" pen & ink study for larger drawing. The feet/toes need work, yes, I know.
Gigantic sketchbook ready to bind
Consists (so far) of (15, cut to size) 22" x 30" Fabriano Artistico hot press 90# watercolor paper, linen thread and linen tapes. Once bound with covers it'll measure (opened) 25" x 11".
progress on Big Canal room
52" x 62" - pencil is erased as first layer of ink is applied. After second layer of in watercolor begins.
optometry business t-shirt
I don't, but if I had an optometry business this is the t-shirt I would make to sponsor the local little league team.
